OMG! This book was so fucking hot. Actually, they both were. This book has been on my list for a really, really long time and for some reason I just always left it for later. Boy was that a mistake. I absolutely loved these books. Bought this one yesterday and the second one today and just finished it. A definite must read.

Found another one!!! Yay me, whoop whoop!!!

Erica is this very driven college graduate who is trying to grow her business. She lost her mom at a young age and doesn't know who her father is. All alone in the big bad world. You know the drill, lonely, independent, scared to love, a runner, blah, blah, blah. OMG!! I luuuvvv Blake!!! Don't get me wrong, I love Erica but I just found a new book boyfriend. Hot, sexy, smart, protective, loaded and most important, obviously well endowed. Need the sequel right now. Read it people!

Ok, so.... I am so damn annoyed right now!!!! Argh!!! It didn't even occur to me that the next book in this series wasn't out yet and now I have to wait until December, December people, for it =[ NO, NO, NO! I want to read it now (stomping).

Anyway, I am sooooo excited! (I know, mood swings, I have them. A lot.) I'm just going to tell you that this book is amazing (just like Against the Ropes) and you must, I repeat, must, definitely, absolutely read it. That being said, let's move on to the reason for my excess of joy and happiness this past week. I discovered an amazing new author (that's right, just call me Columbus) who turned out to be the highlight of my week. I love finding new authors I love. Her only fault is that she is going to make me wait for the next two books, but I am going to try to make it by quoting that very famous saying, by that very smart person who once said "good things come to those who wait". And if that doesn't work, I might just have to start sending her very subtle request that she move up their release dates in consideration of my mental health. Although, fair warning, subtle has never really been my thing, but we’ll cross that bridge when we get there;) Hah, I’m full of sayings today 

All joking aside, I strongly encourage you to pick-up her two books. They are awesome!

This book was absolutely fabulous!!!!! Bought it and read it today. It's my first read from Sarah Castille and I am going to buy her other book Legal Heat right now (which is cheaper on Amazon than B&N, just like this one). I am thrilled to have added a new author to my list and cannot wait for the next book in this series, which in my opinion should be released in 2013 NOT 2014. Just saying ;)

People, you have to read this book!!! It's just so sexy and sweet and funny and light. It's just a very enjoyable read. As soon as I read the excerpt on Amazon (which is 3 chapters long) I was hooked. Love, love, loved it.

While I enjoyed the book I did not like that it read like the continuation of a series rather than the first book. I was dumped in the middle of a story with absolutely no explanation of how it got there, where there was and the circumstances surrounding my characters. Even at the end explanations are still very vague.

WTF!!!! This book is just bazaar.

Didn't even finish the book, which is unheard of for me.

I know I was a little harsh in my last review so let me start by saying that this book was definitely a huge improvement from her last ones. It didn't have the in your face religious propaganda the last few have had and the preachiness was very well disguised.

As soon as you start reading it, you come face to face with the old GS. The one we love and have missed so much. It was incredible! I was so excited I couldn't wait to get into it. You meet Tink and you feel so hopeful. She is everything all of GS's best characters (you know, the old ones) have been. Well.... that didn't last long. She had her moments throughout the book, but they were very few and it just seemed like she lost steam. The vibrancy she had in the first few pages of the book disappeared. Maybe she had stolen it from the Phoenix with the rest of her powers and it faded right along with them?! Who knows. But yet again, personalities were flat in this book too.

When I read the description for this book a few months ago I was really confused. I thought Kane was suppose to be with the girl horsemen. So where the hell did this fairy come from, right? Well this all gets explained, but I thought not very convincingly. I felt the story line for Kane was set in motion many books ago but maybe because it doesn’t' compliment her writing style anymore she decided not to pair them together after all. I like Kane and Tink together just fine, that's not it. I just don't like the interference with were the story was originally supposed to go (assuming this isn't all just in my head).

Anyway, the sex scenes were almost non-existent and the ones we got were very blah. Language was extremely G-rated and I shit you not she even uses dang instead of damn. It really does take so much away from the story. It doesn't allow the characters that extra umph they need for expressing, punctuating and stating anything and everything with the right amount of feeling.

For new GS readers, you will definitely enjoy this book since you have normal "realistic" expectations. For the real GS fans who have read everything she has, this will be another failed attempt at achieving her full potential, but definitely a BIG improvement over the last several books. For me, it was a relief at the improvement but still a letdown. I read fantasy for a reason. I don't want normal, and I don’t want a resemblance to real life. I want to be blown away. I want magic. Unfortunately you can’t have that when your fictional characters have to follow moral, mortal and religious rules. That’s a lot of restrictions. I read a lot of words I never use, sex scenes I’ve never tried, situations I would never be a part of. None of it has changed me. I’m not going to stop saying fuck just because it’s not in the book. I didn’t start saying it because it was in her earlier ones. I want it all back, the foul language, the explicit sex scenes (premarital), the moody, crabby, crazy bitchiness, but more than anything, I want these characters to come to life again as I’m reading about them.

Wait till you find out who Cameo is with!!! Also, very excited about Torin though I’m not sure how that’s going to go, but who cares, finally something!!!! Yay!!!!!

I will remain cautiously optimistic.

OMG!!! This book was an extremely pleasant surprise. I am so happy right now! I'm not even sure what made me decide to buy it, but I am sooo glad I did.

I don't know about you, but I feel like I have been reading the same damn story over and over and over again. The only thing that ever changes is the characters names. And I get that it's because that's what sells. I mean, I eat these books up, but that doesn't stop me from wanting something different. I just want someone to surprise me, to make me believe that something different is possible. And boy was I surprised. This book was really refreshing. The story is great, the characters are ALL incredible. More than anything though I really liked that I didn't feel emotionally drained after reading it. A lot of authors put so many obstacles and disasters and heartbreak in these books that when I finish them (even if I really liked it) I just don't think it was worth it. Maybe it's just me but I pick sanity and peace of mind over all consuming, gut wrenching, walk all over me, I'll be your dumb ass bitch no matter what forever love any time. I mean, let’s keep it real, who the fuck wants to go through all that, for a man?!?!?! What??? No way! Unless I’m putting myself through that torture for world peace or something, it’s just not happening.

Anyway, this is nothing like that and I guarantee, you will love it!!!!!

This is my least favorite book of the series but only because I really had no interest in reading about David at all. I didn't really feel a huge connection between Daisy and him, maybe an attraction but that was it. I could keep complaining about what I did or didn't like but it really just comes down to the fact that I just don't like David, so I'm going to stop.

What I really loved though were the side stories. I was so happy to read about everyone else and that totally made this worth reading. Can't wait for the next one :)

Absolutely loved this book!!!!

I'm going to keep this one real short cause we all know KC rocks and everything she does is kick-ass. The only thing I had an issue with in this book was that the succubus thing was wrapped-up so nice and neat at the end. I was left feeling like he wouldn't have completely accepted her otherwise, or that he only accepted her completely because of it. It just left a sour taste in my mouth. Other than that, this was another incredibly amazing book. I loved it! I am so in LOVE with Munro, I cannot wait for his book!!!!!!

Honest to God I am perplexed at the ratings on this book! Don't get me wrong, I don't regret reading it, but when I was done I didn't sit there and think wow, this book was fucking amazing! No, it was more like "WHAT THE FUCK!!!!".

I've read other biker books, so I know how twisted and fucked up these books tend to be, but oh my fucking God!!! This shit was ridiculous!!!! I have a really, really, I mean really good imagination, and no matter how hard I try to picture the "happy ending" , I can't. It was just too much. less than half way through the book I had already decided it was too much, but they just kept adding more shit on top of shit without any recovery time in between.

I can't even begin to describe my level of disgust with Eva and Deuce. I didn't feel any love between them, it was all just a sick obsession just like Frankie's. Apart from 2 or 3 normal conversations, all they did was hurt and humiliate and belittle each other. It was just disgusting to "watch". Frankie was just crazy so that didn't bother me, but Preacher just pissed me off. Why the hell did he never look out for Eva? Why didn't he ever see what was going on and do something about it?

I knew from the description that this book was going to be dark, but it was just ridiculous. Every situation, everything Eva and Deuce did and said, it was just too much for me to buy them staying together in the end.

Okay.. so I'm done with the series and I will admit that the second and third book changed my feelings (a little)about the first one. They are totally worth reading, but mostly just because Kellan is definitely someone you should read about. Other than that, I thought the books were just ridiculously long. I honestly don't think so many pages were needed for this story, but what do I know, I still don't really like Kiera.

Didn't love it. Won't be reading the next one.
